Bio El Dante is a bad-ass six piece band of highly skilled musicians from around the nation that have met each other in Bend, OR, a global village of a town. After establishing themselves as one of Bend’s best party dance bands through several personnel changes, this band really took form when Gabe Johnson (formerly of Jive Talkin’ Robots & Soulwork) joined the band. Johnson’s “funk ‘n roll” approach helped marry the band’s sense of groove and its penchant for melody while fattening up the rhythm section. The band continues to grow its fan bases in the Northwest while remaining one Central Oregon’s most popular bands. “Funkifizated Volcanic Soul Rock.
